"Fragments of Time - the Explorer's Legacy"
focuses on Greek and Roman sailors and
exploration. The glass was rough cut to look
like a broken fragment, and then kiln formed to
add temples, Greek triremes and other sailing
vessels, sailors, explorers, and elements of
history and legend. The marble was treated
similarly to look like ruined fragments, with
carved faces and hieroglyphs, and then each
piece was slotted to accept the glass.
