As an early pioneer in aviation, the planes of Douglas Aircraft read like a history of flight. Set over over a gridwork which reflects the high-tech engineering necessary today, these murals shimmer on the stainless steel. By developing special paints, the highlights on the planes appear and disappear with the position of the viewer and the changing light.
